BoxLinkTV on Samsung & LG Smart TV – Setup Guide

What You Need

• A Samsung or LG Smart TV with an active internet connection.
• The BoxLinkTV server URL, username, password, M3U URL, and guide details from the welcome email.
• A supported player available for your TV model and software version.
• The device ID, MAC address, or activation code if the selected player requests one.

Xtream Codes Setup

1. Open the Samsung Smart Hub or LG Content Store and install a supported player.
2. Open the player and note the Device ID or activation code if shown.
3. Choose Xtream Codes or Xtream Codes API when the player offers that login type.
4. Enter the complete server URL, username, and case-sensitive password from BoxLinkTV.
5. Save the profile and wait for channels, VOD, and guide data to synchronize.

M3U Playlist Setup

1. Open the M3U-compatible player installed on the TV.
2. Open the activation or playlist portal shown by the player when required.
3. Enter the displayed Device ID or MAC address exactly as shown.
4. Paste the BoxLinkTV M3U playlist URL and save the profile.
5. Return to the TV and wait for the channel list to load.

Smart TV Troubleshooting

• If channels do not load, check the connection, restart the player, re-enter credentials, and confirm the full server URL.
• If playback buffers, test FHD or HD before returning to 4K; wired Ethernet is recommended for 4K when available.
• If the player asks for an activation value, recheck the Device ID or MAC address rather than inventing one.
• If EPG is missing, allow 10–15 minutes on first load and then force-close and reopen the app.
