BoxLinkTV on PC & Mac – M3U and Xtream Setup Guide

BoxLinkTV lists PC and Mac among its supported devices. Use Hot Player where available or ask support for the best desktop path, then add the service with Xtream Codes or an M3U playlist.

Prepare the Desktop Setup

  • Use a supported Windows or macOS version and a stable internet connection.
  • Keep the complete server URL, username, password, M3U URL, and guide details from the welcome email.
  • Install Hot Player where available, or confirm the desktop player path with support.
  • Close other high-bandwidth streams while testing quality and stability.

Do not guess a desktop player path

Desktop app availability changes. If the player you want does not expose the documented Xtream or M3U fields, use an approved alternative or contact support before entering data.

Xtream Codes Setup

  1. Open the supported desktop player and choose the Xtream Codes login option when available.
  2. Enter the complete BoxLinkTV server URL.
  3. Enter the case-sensitive username and password from the welcome email.
  4. Save the profile and wait for live TV, VOD, and guide data to synchronize.

M3U Playlist Setup

  1. Open the M3U-compatible desktop player.
  2. Choose Add Remote Playlist, Network Playlist, or the equivalent option.
  3. Paste the complete BoxLinkTV M3U URL.
  4. Save the playlist and wait for the channel list to load.

PC and Mac Troubleshooting

  • If channels do not load, check the connection, restart the player, re-enter credentials, and confirm the full server URL.
  • If buffering occurs, switch from 4K to FHD or HD and test again.
  • For 4K, 30 Mbps or higher is recommended; wired Ethernet is useful when available.
  • If EPG is missing, allow 10–15 minutes on first load and reopen the player.

Use the buffering checklist or contact support with the desktop app and exact symptom. Do not send your password publicly.
