Android IPTV Player Setup Guide for BoxLinkTV
This Android setup path uses the connection formats documented by BoxLinkTV. The current preferred-player list does not document every Android app by name, so use the fields shown by your player and choose an approved alternative when its workflow is unclear.
Xtream Codes Setup
- Open the Android player and choose Add User, Add Playlist, or the equivalent option.
- Select Xtream Codes API when that login method is available.
- Enter the complete server URL, username, and case-sensitive password from the welcome email.
- Save the profile and wait for live channels, VOD, and guide data to load.
Use the exact supplied details
A missing protocol, incomplete server URL, or changed letter case can cause a login error. Re-enter the supplied details before treating the account as unavailable.
M3U Playlist Setup
- Open the player’s Remote Playlist or Add M3U option.
- Paste the complete BoxLinkTV M3U URL.
- Save the playlist and wait for the channel list to populate.
EPG, Catch-Up, and Buffering
- Allow 10–15 minutes for EPG data to populate on first load, then reopen the app.
- Treat Catch-Up as dependent on the channel and player supporting replay.
- Use around 15 Mbps for HD and 30 Mbps or higher for 4K.
- If buffering occurs, switch from 4K to FHD or HD and test again.
