IBO Player Setup Guide for BoxLinkTV
IBO Player is included in the BoxLinkTV device and activation guidance. Depending on the version and device, the app may show a Device ID, MAC address, activation code, Xtream fields, or an M3U playlist field.
Start With the App Identity
- Install IBO Player from the official app listing available on your device.
- Open the app and note the Device ID, MAC address, or activation code shown on screen.
- Use the activation flow shown by the app when it requires an external portal.
- Keep the displayed value exact; do not add spaces or substitute another device ID.
Activation and subscription details are separate
An app activation code identifies the player. BoxLinkTV account credentials identify the service. Use the correct value in each field.
Add the BoxLinkTV Playlist
- Choose Xtream Codes when the player exposes server URL, username, and password fields.
- Enter the complete server URL and the case-sensitive credentials from the welcome email.
- If the player uses M3U instead, paste the complete BoxLinkTV M3U URL.
- Save the profile and wait for live channels, VOD, and guide data to load.
EPG and Catch-Up Checks
- Allow 10–15 minutes for EPG data to populate on first load, then force-close and reopen the app.
- Catch-Up depends on the channel and player supporting replay.
- If buffering occurs, switch from 4K to FHD or HD and test again.
- For 4K, 30 Mbps or higher and wired Ethernet are recommended when available.
Use the buffering checklist if playback is unstable.
When Activation or Login Fails
Recheck the Device ID or MAC address, then re-enter the server URL and credentials. If the issue persists, use the player activation request with the exact device details. Do not publish your password.
