IPTV EPG & Catch-Up Guide – Setup TV Guide + Replay
EPG is the electronic programme guide for live channels. Catch-Up is replay access when the channel and player support it. They are related features, but neither is guaranteed for every channel or app.
How EPG Loads
- Complete the Xtream Codes or M3U setup with the guide details supplied for the account.
- Open the guide after the channel list has loaded.
- Allow 10–15 minutes for EPG data to populate on the first load.
- Force-close and reopen the app after that initial period if the guide is still empty.
EPG timing is not the same as channel availability
A delayed guide can be a first-load issue. A missing channel or event is a separate availability question and should be checked with the exact channel details.
How Catch-Up Works
Catch-Up depends on both the source channel and the player app. If the feature is not visible, confirm that the channel supports replay, confirm that the player exposes the feature, and then reopen the app after the guide has loaded.
If EPG or Catch-Up Is Missing
- Confirm the server URL, username, password, or M3U URL are entered exactly.
- Wait for the initial EPG population period.
- Force-close and reopen the player.
- Test another channel to separate channel-specific support from an account-wide issue.
- Contact support with the device, player, channel, and exact symptom.
