BoxLinkTV on Apple TV & iOS – Setup Guide
BoxLinkTV lists Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad among its supported devices. The current device data identifies Hot Player, UHF, and IPTVX as the preferred Apple-side setup paths where available.
Before You Start
- Connect the Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad to a stable internet connection.
- Keep the BoxLinkTV server URL, username, password, M3U URL, and guide details from the welcome email.
- Install Hot Player, UHF, or IPTVX from the app store when the listing is available for your device.
- Note the device model and app version if support needs to investigate a problem.
App availability can vary
App-store listings and available login fields can change by device and software version. Use the player path visible on your device and match the setup method to its fields.
Xtream Codes Setup
- Open the installed player and choose Add User, Add Playlist, or the equivalent option.
- Select Xtream Codes API when the player offers that login type.
- Enter the complete BoxLinkTV server URL, username, and case-sensitive password.
- Save the profile and wait for live channels, VOD, and guide data to load.
M3U Playlist Setup
- Open a supported M3U-compatible player.
- Choose Remote Playlist, Add M3U URL, or the equivalent option.
- Paste the complete BoxLinkTV M3U playlist URL.
- Save the playlist and wait for the channel list to populate.
Apple Device Troubleshooting
- If channels do not load, check the connection, restart the app, re-enter credentials, and confirm the full server URL.
- If playback buffers, switch from 4K to FHD or HD; wired Ethernet is recommended for 4K when available to the setup.
- If EPG is missing, allow 10–15 minutes on first load and then force-close and reopen the app.
- If Catch-Up is missing, confirm that the channel and player support replay.
Use the contact page with the device, player, setup method, and exact symptom. Keep account credentials private.
